Born and raised in coastal Georgia, Elizabeth “Liz” Pirkle Huggins spent her early years between Hinesville and Savannah. She attended Savannah Country Day School, where her leadership skills and competitive spirit emerged early—serving as student government president and excelling as a competitive cheerleader, both in high school and college at Valdosta State University. These early experiences instilled in her the resilience, discipline, and commitment she now brings to her legal practice.
Liz has over a decade of hands-on legal experience, beginning her journey as a paralegal at The Pirkle Law Firm in 2014 under the guidance of her father, Bob Pirkle. While pursuing her law degree at Savannah Law School, she continued contributing to the firm’s operations and maintained a valuable connection to the practice. During law school, she remained highly involved in campus leadership and was elected president of the Student Bar Association in her third year. Liz was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 2024.
With a focus on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury, Liz combines deep legal knowledge with a natural ability to make complex processes feel manageable for her clients. She’s known for cutting through the confusion, communicating openly, and prioritizing practical solutions. Her practice philosophy is straightforward: address issues head-on, resolve conflicts efficiently, and fiercely protect her clients’ interests when needed.
Clients appreciate Liz’s approachable demeanor and clear, step-by-step guidance through the legal system. Whether negotiating a fair settlement or standing firm in court, she brings a balance of quiet confidence and assertiveness to every case.
When she’s not advocating for her clients, Liz enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with her husband and two dogs (Tito and L.B.), training for her next half marathon, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
While family law, criminal defense, and personal injury are my primary areas of focus, I’ve gained exposure to a broad range of legal matters and am happy to assist or refer clients in other areas when possible.
